Our Client is seeking a Senior Developer in Bristol, CT. As the ideal candidate, the SharePoint Developer will be responsible for successful delivery of software application solutions by participating in software development and follow the established SDLC process. The developer will be working with SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2007 for intranets and extranets as well as building new solutions and support ongoing SharePoint business applications. The developer will be a team player who will engage with the rest of the team and business partners to develop applications that meet the requirements. Prepare and update SharePoint services and application documentation.

Responsibilities:
Creation of functional and technical specifications for business requirements
Development of software components, test plans and documentation in accordance with the designs and agreed Client standards.
Development of prototype software to assist with the design phase of software projects.
Identify and investigate issues, identify root causes, and complete assigned issues within an agreed-upon timeframe.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in software development company.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint Portal 2010 & 2013.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, Infopath.
Strong knowledge of SQL database design, and development
Strong work ethic and the ability to creatively accomplish aggressive project goals when necessary.
Possess strong analytical and technical skills
SharePoint 2007 & 2010 development framework, SharePoint Services and SharePoint Portal
Degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience in programming in Windows Script Host, PowerShell, SharePoint web services, designer and infopath is desired
Strong knowledge of (C#) ASP.NET development within the SharePoint frameworkEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
