$120,000 - $135,000 +BonusOur client, a growing highly stable publicly-traded and successful manufacturer is looking for a Manager of Financial Reporting & Consolidations to join their team.
This role will play a key role in the accounting & finance group.
Key
Responsibilities:
Take ownership of monthly consolidation of company-wide financial statements Oversight of detailed analysis of monthly consolidated financial statements for the purpose of ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP Monthly financial reporting to leadership team including standard reporting as well as ad-hoc requests Quarterly support of external reporting process including financial statement and footnote reviews for Forms 10-Q/K and press releases Management of multiple technical areas, including the ability to research accounting guidance Assistance and consultation related to annual consolidation and analysis of company-wide plan financial statements Shared responsibility for Hyperion/EPM (Consolidation/Planning) system with Financial Systems team M&A - opening balance sheet accounting and post-close financial reporting support Identify and research solutions to accounting issues; assist implementation of new accounting rules Seek process improvements and special projects such as on-site operations/control reviews
Qualifications:
BS in Accounting.
A Master's is a plus Approximately 4 - 8 years of demonstrated success within public accounting or mix of public and private Manufacturing experience, consolidations, and SEC experience knowledge are very beneficial.
CPA preferred A high degree of integrity and ethical behavior Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a worldwide financial team; ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills required; Ability to take initiative and be able to deal with ambiguity to resolve issues with good and timely decisions.
Oracle Hyperion/EPM (Consolidation/Planning) and Smartview preferred Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within the Finance department and across other functions on key initiatives, sharing of best practices, tools and/or processes.
Seeks opportunities for automation/digitalization - motivated to think outside-of-the-box Recommended Skills Analytical Attention To Detail Automation Communication Consolidated Accounting Consulting Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
