Job Description:
The position is responsible for the daily creation of cross-platform live graphics for multiple ESPN productions in our Studio and Remote environmentsThis is a hands-on position needing strong ability to learn quickly and collaborate with others while also being able to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines to maintain the quality of ESPN productThe position requires a keen eye for design, modern graphic communications skills, a visual storytelling sense, and a strong interest in our brand while collaborating with a passionate team of content creators.
Responsibilities:
Utilizes Adobe software to create designs and animations for ESPN productionsUtilizes and adheres to workflow processes for ESPN property and external Production applicationsWorks independently and with Show Unit personnel to deliver on-time, on-brand graphic content for live production requestsCreate visualization graphic designs and typography layouts for multiple ESPN production propertiesAbility to create content within established brand guidelinesMust be flexible, self-starter, detail-oriented, takes direction well, deadline driven, strong collaborator and excellent communicatorAptitude to learn new trends and software tools as they emergeAbility to thrive within a fast-paced team environment and confident to work independentlyAdheres to all administrative responsibilities, including time entry and daily reporting requirementsMaintains high standards of efficiency, consistency, accuracy, creativity and timely delivery of all requestsMust be highly motivated, work well under pressure, and regularly effectively prioritize multiple assignments.
Possesses strong individual and team communication skills with the ability to take direction well
Qualifications:
1 year of an internship in graphic designProficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with specific focus on Photoshop, and IllustratorMust be able to provide a portfolio or demo reel of recent work and explanation of project involvementMust be flexible, self-starter, detail-oriented, deadline driven, strong collaborator and excellent communicatorAbility to work in a fast paced, quick turnaround live broadcast environmentStrong design and typography skillsAbility to accept guidance and respond well to feedbackAvailable to work varied hours and weekendsPreferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
