This position is open due to an internal promotion! Our Client, an internationally recognized manufacturer of machines and machine solution technologies has promoted their 5 Axis Machinist to a Project Engineer role and has asked Hallmark to locate and help them hire a replacement CNC Machinist.
What is really great is that the existing employee will provide your training and will act as your support while you master the position.

Responsibilities:
Set up and operate complex CNC machines including performing initial production runs where programming, fixtures and methods are being developed.
Set up and operate specified machining centers.
Assist in debugging operating problems.
Work from blueprints and program CNC machines.
Select tools, feed and speed for machining applications.
Work with measuring tools.
Control quality of machined parts.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS:
High school graduate
2
years of CNC machining experience
Experience with CNC milling machines
Set-up fixture design
Programming
Mastercam
Knowledge and experience with geometric tolerances
