Content Systems Integrity Analyst I Summary: The Emerging Technology Group is seeking a skilled and dedicated Software Test Analyst to join our team. As a CSI Software Test Analyst you will work together with Software Development Engineers to build the next generation in technology solutions for ESPN Studios and Production. You will participate in all aspects of the product development cycle including planning, design, implementation and test all the way to release. Content Systems Integrity Analyst I: The Content Systems Integrity Team has a strong focus on designing and developing manual and automated test solutions to verify and validate functionality, performance, stability and usability of software systems developed by the Emerging Technology Group.

This position is responsible for software testing, scripting, writing and execution of test plans and test cases; ensures verification of software and hardware products by discovering, isolating and reproducing anomalies in areas including but not limited to programming, hardware systems integration, interfaces, design and user documentation. Responsibilities: ? Supports the testing, implementation, and technical support of assigned components for software or engineering projects. ? Assists in the generation of detailed test strategies, test plans, test cases (manual and automated) and test reports. ? Performs the testing of assigned components of production support systems. ? Effectively communicates defects to developer(s) responsible for system being tested, using systems as necessary per project. ? Maintain an understanding of Application Lifecycle Management, Software Development and Agile Development/Testing practices and methodologies. ? Assist in improvement and extension of test frameworks and automated test sets across the project. ? Provides 2nd Level support for assigned systems and system components. ? Follows proper escalation procedures when technical troubleshooting of assigned systems is required. ? Participates in meetings as requested with Production staff or Statistics and Analysis team to understand on air production system requirements.
? Related work experience. ? Working understanding of techniques for testing software. ? Knowledge and understanding of Application Lifecycle Management, Software Development and Agile Development/Testing practices and methodologies. ? Knowledge and understanding of automated test tools such as QTP (Quick Test Pro) or similar test automation software. ? Knowledge of formal development languages such as C# or C++. ? Knowledge of database technologies. ? Ability to work and participate in a team with open and collaborative style of communications. ? Passion for software quality and for advancing testing as an eng

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
