# Job Description
ESPN is seeking a multitalented art director to join our design group in Bristol. Candidates should excel as hands-on designers, as managers and at ideation.Their sense of design and typography must be clean, classic and highly developed, with an inherent knowledge of the role it plays in defining a brand. They should have a deep interest in information graphics, illustration, photography--and sports. The art director is expected to manage illustrators and coordinate the work of freelance designers. The ability to conceptualize content and articulate it to co-workers, however, is perhaps the most valuable skill a candidate can possess.

# Responsibilities
Designs pages, sets up templates and assigns illustrations.
Manage and mentor assigned designers and illustrators to ensure designs are sophisticated, forward looking and cutting edge.
Supports a positive effective team atmosphere, sets clear expectations, schedules and direction.
Works closely with editorial staff in communicating various design strategies.
Ensure adherence to established style guidelines for all assignments.
Collaborate with producers from on long form stories and special projects.
Create informational graphics for print, social, and digital.
# Basic Qualifications
Experienced project manager with good supervisory and communications skills.
Five or more years of consumer magazine experience.
Sophisticated sense of design, photography and typography.
Assists in the organizational tasks within the art department.
# Preferred Qualifications
Adobe Creative Suite (CS4) and Microsoft Office.
Experienced in web/interactive design.
# Required Education
Bachelor's degree in art, design or related field.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
