We are seeking a Senior Director of Design/Web/Mobile Web to lead our web based product design across desktop, tablets and
handsets. This
leader will be responsible for defining the look and feel of ESPN web products, and developing guidelines across all devices. We expect this individual to lead the design team in working hand in hand with our product and technology teams, guiding the design and communicating clearly throughout the development process. The individual s
hould have deep experience with, and a curiosity around, current products, trends, software, platforms and hardware and how all of those can inform and impact ESPN?s product suite.

Responsibilities
Establishes and leads the ?look & feel? for all ESPN?s web, mobile web and responsive products ensuring great experiences on desktops, smartphones and tablets. Oversight includes but is not limited to: , ESPN?s international properties, WatchESPN on web, Fantasy products on web, Insider, internal ad solutions around IAB ad standards and premium revenue products, and affiliate sites including ESPNW, , . Sets the creative direction for all web, mobile web and responsive products and directs the creative staff in the development and implementation of design concepts, designs and layouts Lead, oversee and participate in the entire design process, from concept and strategy, to wire frame, UX and UI design, testing, prototyping and final execution. Oversee and manage coordination of front end development across all products Guide and participate in the testing process to interpret user feedback, usage data, industry trends, etc. Oversee consistency in UX, UI and visual design across brands and products within the web vertical. Develop and implement design style and process guidelines across ESPN product suite, assuring quality and consistency across all products, and assuring clear consistent communication around design integration with product and technology partners. Lead the adaptation of native ESPN products into the web based environments, ensuring brand consistent experiences across desktops, smartphones and tablets. Reviews and approves the work of the creative staff; and coordinates executive level creative critiques. Approves or reviews the hiring, firing, promotion and compensation adjustments within the web vertical creative staff. Works in partnership with Product Management, Project Management, Technology and Editorial Reports to the VP/Creative Director of Digital media while directly managing the creative staff within the Web design vertical. Lead and manage the creative relationships with external design agencies.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of digital creative and production experience, with at least 3 years experience managing creative teams.
In-depth knowledge of the web design, technology and product process.
Responsible for knowing industry best practices across platform and device, and having a deep understanding of consumer behaviors, consumer trends, etc.
Should have deep experience with and curiosity around current products, trends, software, platforms and hardware.
Deep understanding of user interface, user interaction, design and front end design across platforms, devices and products
Extensive experience with UX, UI and web design.
Proficient within the Adobe creative suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator
Advanced abilities in user experience, including site architecture and how it relates to business goals
Hands-on experience as design lead for successful digital products
Understanding of ESPN brand and sports landscape as a fan and a company
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to seamlessly move between big picture (strategy, planning) and the most minute details
Expert in Adobe photoshop and Adobe illustrator
Additional Qualifications
Extensive web design experience in content, live, automated and advertising
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and Java script workflow and requirements
Ability with lightweight prototyping a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
